...To the folks who bring you Thanksgiving dinner, winter holiday feasts, and safe, abundant food all year round: farmers and ranchers.
Gov. Doyle has proclaimed Friday, Nov. 20 "Thank You Farmers and Ranchers Day" in Wisconsin. Not only do they keep us fed; they keep our rural communities vital and provide a big chunk of our state's economy. Big dairy farms, small organic vegetable plots, beef producers, cranberry marshes -- we need them all and we thank them all.
